Beck's Scott Pilgrim Songs
New tracks based on "crappy fake lyrics" ...
Beck has provided songs for Edgar Wright's forthcoming movie adaptation, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
According to Pitchfork, the singer has written two tracks to be performed by the lead character's band, Sex Bob-Omb.
Bryan Lee O'Malley, who created the comic book series which the movie is based on, wrote on Twitter: "The two songs in the trailer are both new ones by Beck.
"Beck did some songs based on some crappy fake lyrics I made up."
Scott Pilgrim vs the World will go on general release on 13 August.
