Damon Plays Kennedy
Second RFK feature in the pipeline ...
Matt Damon has reportedly agreed to star as Robert F. Kennedy in a biopic of the American politician's life.
The film will track RFK's rise as a promising political leader following the assassination of his brother and U.S. president, John F. Kennedy in 1963.
After declaring himself as a Democrat presidential candidate in 1968, RFK was also shot and killed while on the campaign trail.
Seabiscuit director Gary Ross will helm the film, while Oscar-nominated writer Steven Knight will adapt the script from Evan Thomas' RFK biography, His Life.
