Manchester trio Doves have confirmed details of a U.K. tour to coincide with the release of their greatest hits record.

Titled The Places Between: The Best Of Doves, the album will be released on 5 April and feature hits from the band's 12-year career, including There Goes The Fear, Black and White Town and Kingdom Of Rust.

To promote the record, the band will play a nine-date run of shows, starting on 28 April at Hull City Hall and finishing at St Georges Hall in Bradford on 9 May .
