Tony Gilmore takes a helm of a sexy and sharp-edged thriller staring the easy on eye and ear pairing of Roberts and Owen (who can act a bit as well), who play a pair of corporate spies who share a steamy past hook-up to pull off the ultimate con job on their respective bosses.
It’s something of a chess game of a film, played for thrills and spills and with the odd charged moment along the way. Roberts and Owen play this kind of thing like a dream (and once again Owen shows what he would have done with the Bond role, given half a chance).
Good fun for adults and a welcome distraction from the, you know, collapse of capitalism (a thread of which cunningly winds itself through this very good looking film).
