Guy Ritchie's King Arthur
Busy time for the Sherlock Holmes helmer ...
Guy Ritchie has reportedly been attached to direct Warner Bros' reimagining of the story of King Arthur.
According to Variety, the Sherlock Holmes director will helm the movie from a script written by Trainspotting scribe John Hodge.
Taking inspiration from Thomas Mallory's Le Morte d'Arthur, a 1485 compilation of French and English tales, the film will focus on how the sixth century British ruler defeated the Saxon invaders.
Ritchie is also currently planning for a Sherlock Holmes sequel, with shooting due to start at some point this year.
