14/06/09: World Naked Bike Ride: Brighton
Brighton's fifth World Naked Bike Ride took place earlier this year. Around 700 riders took part this year (up from 400, 180 and 160 in previous years) and more are expected in 2010. As in 2007 ride, and following negotiations with Sussex Police, full nudity was permitted at the event this year.
2009's event formed the finale to a weekend of seven UK rides, (including Southampton and London), which allowed people to take part naked in three southern rides!
