Eminem, Muse and Kasabian have been confirmed as headliners for the 2010 T In The Park festival.

U.S. rapper Eminem is the stand-out act at this year's event, which runs from 9 to 11 July at Balado in Kinross-shire.

The performance will mark his first UK show since 2003 and his first festival slot since Reading in 2001.

British rock band Kasabian were already confirmed for the event, with Muse taking the remaining headline slot.

The 2010 festival will also feature sets from Jay-Z, Dizzee Rascal, Paolo Nutini, Empire Of The Sun, Stereophonics and The Prodigy.

Welcoming the lineup, Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme told BBC Newsbeat:

"I think Eminem is amazing. I haven't listened to the last album much but the album before that was incredible. I've never seen him live before.

"The only problem we have is that it's World Cup final weekend. If it falls on the World Cup final and England happen to be there I might have to go and watch England play instead."

Tickets for the 2010 T In The Park will go on sale from 9am on Friday (26 February).
