Thom Yorke has confirmed that he will perform a special benefit gig for the Green Party this month.

On 25 February, the Radiohead frontman will play a show at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge in support of parliamentary candidate Tony Juniper, who recently joined York to gatecrash the UN conference on climate change.

Writing on the Dear Air Space blog, Yorke said:

"Now normally I wouldn't get involved in politics like this. But let's face it, it ain't Labour or the Tories is it?!?"

Tickets for the one-off show will go on sale from 12pm tomorrow (11 February).
