Thom Yorke Side Project
Atoms for Peace U.S. dates ...
Thom Yorke has revealed that his side project band is called Atoms For Peace.
The collective - which includes Yorke, Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea, Forro In The Dark's Mauro Refosco and REM collaborator Joey Waronker - made their live debut in Los Angeles last October.
Writing on Radiohead's Dead Air Space blog, Yorke said: "It has been decided that we call ourselves Atoms For Peace. Hope you like the name. It seemed bleedin' obvious."
Atoms For Peace will play the following U.S. dates in April:
5, 6, New York Roseland Ballroom
8, Boston Citi Wang Theatre
10, 11, Chicago Aragon Ballroom
14, 15, Oakland Fox Theatre
17, Santa Barbara Bowl
The band are also scheduled to play at the 2010 Coachella festival in California.
